Twenty-four/seven is what it takes to be successful in real estate today. With all the advances in technology—the Internet, digital photography and file sharing—it actually is more time consuming for real estate professionals to be successful today than in the simple days of for-sale signs and print media. Ron wakes up thinking about his clients and customers and goes to bed thinking about them and learns something new from every experience. He usually makes new friends of most of his contacts too! Even with all the media negativity in the market place right now, it is still a fun and exciting time to be in real estate and can usually be profitable for everyone!
Having purchased and managed historic properties from the early 1980s in the Saratoga, New York area, Ron made the move to Savannah’s Landmark Historic District in August of 1990. In January, 2005 He launched his real estate career with Cora Bett Thomas Realty. Ron is hard working, patient, reliable, and sincere. Ron’s manner and personal style and attention to detail will help to ease the stress of one of the most important economic transactions we make. Ron is always on top of it and looks forward to being on your team and helping you with all your real estate needs.
Ron is a State of Georgia Licensed Realtor, a member of the Distinguished Sales Society of the Savannah Board of Realtors, a Certified Luxury Home Marketing specialist, and has earned the Graduate Realtor Institute designation (GRI). With an interest in Savannah’s history and a fondness for historic communities in general, Ron is also a member of The English Speaking Union, The Downtown Business Association, the local chapter of the United States Green Building Council, and others including the Downtown Neighborhood Association having served as Ward Captain of Calhoun Ward for a period of about 10 years.
