The appliances are a dream: Thermadore range with 4 gas burners, a griddle and commercial oven hood; Fisher Paykel dishwasher drawers; Viking refrigerator; and custom-made cabinets. Additional space was reconfigured to enlarge a glamorous powder room and create a larger laundry room.

The guest quarters are located in the carriage house, which is attached to the house. The quarters are complete with its own bath, breakfast bar, two spacious closets and a redwood sauna. Below the guest quarters is the garage with automatic garage doors, ample storage and a half bath. 

The sumptuous master suite contains a lovely dressing room, master bath, tremendous closet, and an original fireplace. The master bath is done in white marble, seamless glass shower and a luxurious white soaking tub, as well as double closets. In the closet room is a built-in dresser and ample hanging and shelf space. Adjacent to the master suite is a lovely second bedroom and bath. A large third bedroom and bath are located on the top floor. This bedroom has a cedar closet. 

Take the interior heart pine staircase down to the garden level. Brick walls, enormous heart pine beams, two of the eight original fireplaces in the house and a slate floor create a relaxing and intimate ambiance. The antique English bar with its exquisite marquetry is the crowning feature of this level. A built-in banquette with storage underneath, a wine rack and a full bath complete the front portion of this floor. Through a pair of brick arches is an intimate dining are with a kitchenette featuring a new dishwasher, Kitchen Aid icemaker and deep bar sink. The French doors lead out to the garden. The entire courtyard is bricked with old Savannah gray bricks and edged with antique ballast. 

The current owners have meticulously restored and maintained this house while being true to the original floor plan and style. Just a few of the renovations/improvements are: all five bathrooms and two half baths have been completely redone, the kitchen was completely redone, new light fixtures throughout the house (no original existed), new draperies and blinds in every room, laundry room, under house storage with new brick floors and lights, all new (4) heat/air units – Trane, new ductwork throughout the house, repointed exterior brick sides.
